  1. I like Jane Lynch and she did a compentent job. However, except for a few moments, the Emmys (and the Oscars, too) have been absolute a suckfest. They should do them like the Golden Globes and let people have some hooch. Of course, that makes the "In Memorium" segment a bit riskier if everyone is tipsy.

  3. I like her a lot, but I did find that the audience, multiple times, had to actually be prompted to applaud and laugh. It was rather hard to watch, and a ton of the jokes fell VERY flat. It was as if she wasn't able to inject really any of the wit she has into the show, and the job could have been by anyone since the material was so very generic. Even the "gay agenda" joke was pretty weak.
