Oklahoma Lawmaker Sally Kern Says Homosexuality a Daily Threat Worse Than Terrorism: VIDEO

Sally Kern sat down with Peter (Porno Pete) LaBarbera of 'Americans for Truth About Homosexuality' to promote her new book, The Stoning of Sally Kern, and returned to her favorite assertion that gays are worse for America than terrorists, Right Wing Watch reports.

Kern Said Kern:

You know if you just look at it in practical terms, which has destroyed and ended the life of more people? Terrorism attack here in America or HIV/AIDS? In the last twenty years, fifteen to twenty years, we’ve had maybe three terrorist attacks on our soil with a little over 5,000 people regrettably losing their lives. In the same time frame, there have been hundreds of thousands who have died because of having AIDS. So which one’s the biggest threat? And you know, every day our young people, adults too, but especially our young people, are bombarded at school, in movies, in music, on TV, in the mall, in magazines, they’re bombarded with ‘homosexuality is normal and natural.’ It’s something they have to deal with every day. Fortunately we don’t have to deal with a terrorist attack every day, and that’s what I mean.

  1. I hate this CONSTANT making stuff crap coming from the GOP and Dems and Inpds need to call these beeyatches out on their BS.

"Studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality has lasted more than, you know, a few decades."

Name me ONE COUNTRY or SOCIETY. JUST ONE! Also state where your facts are coming from. Home school books not accepted.

  2. People shouldn't pay attention to her. Without the media rewarding her when she says outrageous things, she'd be an unimportant state legislator from a state that's rarely on the national radar. Instead she gets to delude herself that she's an important figure in the social conservative movement, when she's not even THAT.

  3. Her new look is trying to be less butch...
but she just looks like Julian Glover in drag.

  4. "and you know, every day our young people, adults too, but especially our young people, are bombarded at school, in movies, in music, on TV in the mall, in magazines, they’re bombarded with ‘homosexuality is normal and natural." Well she had better thank god for normal and natural sexual orientations or it really would be monkey see monkey do

  5. It's not often that I'm speechless, but this woman is able to gobsmack people on the other side of the Atlantic with her ignorance. Free speech issues aside, why are you actually giving airtime, media time or oxygen to this hateful, spiteful old crone?

  6. Let's deal with her claims purely factually. She says that Homosexuality causes more deaths than terrorism. Homosexuality is purely a technical term for same sex attraction. It does not cause any deaths at all. Risky sexual behaviour does. A monogomous HIV free gay male couple can have sex with each other 10 times a day for 50 years and will be at less risk of contracting HIV than a married heterosexual woman who sleeps with her husband once after he has had unprotected sex with a HIV positive woman. Lesbian sex is much less risky than sex involving men - but it is still homosexuality, another blow to her claims. It is not a person's sexual orientation that causes the spread of lethal infections, it is how they choose to behave sexually or in terms of drug use.

If she ever dared to calmly try and debate her 'gayness is the root of all evil' claims with any even half competent opponent her views would be demolished.

  7. May all the hate she dishes out come back and land on her own head ten fold.

  8. Homophobia is a worse daily threat than terrorism. I am more likely to be gay bashed than to die from terrorism in the US.

  9. Hateful, ignorant people rarely age well. Happy people do. This woman is and her ilk are the real threat!

  11. Most AIDS infections in the world are heterosexual. In Africa, 95%.

  12. @QJ201 - as far as I'm concerned, when homophobes encourage or tolerate 'gay bashing' .... it makes them domestic terrorists.

  13. Not so much Sally (Michelle, et al.) who worries me; it's the majoriity of the voters who elected her.

  14. Oh Sally when will someone drop a house on you, if we use your logic then smoking, drinking, driving, and drug use are even bigger threats then the homos. Why aren't you focusing your time and effort on those things? Because by the looks of you you're a 5 pack a day smoker who polishes off a 5th of gin then smokes some crack to get your day started.

  16. Ironically, her face has caused more homosexuality that listening to the original Evita soundtrack. So sad...

  17. What a sad, misguided, wretch of a human being this woman is.

May I remind her and her ilk that HIV/AIDS is a HUMAN disease, not a GAY disease. And humans affected with this terrible disease need our compassion and caring, not our scorn.

How do these people sleep at night? I thank my lucky stars, my mind doesn't work that way.

  18. How unfortunate that Sally wasn't on the 106 floor of the World Trade Center, 10 years ago tomorrow, her kind of hatred derserve a death of that great proportion.

What an evil, stupid woman, God help us all if people might possibly believe her statements of hate!

  19. So by her definitions, lesbians are the chosen people? I bet she doesn't see it that way, but this lady is broken.

  20. the major political leaders in the USA need to adamantly condemn Sally Kern's words. For real. Obama needs to vocally criticize her hateful words, as does every single Senator, Governor and State Rep worth a damn.

Sally Kern and people like her are indeed the reason there's still such a strong anti-LGBT energy in the US.

  21. 30,000 Americans die every year from gun-violence here in the USA.

amazingly, Kern doesn't support stronger gun-control legislations.

    of course not, eh?

  24. I have never in my life seen a more uninformed, rediculous statement. Only a few terrorist attacks a year? Does she not know that gay people are not the only HIV sufferers? Do your homework silly lady. I wish this poor pathetic woman no ill, she just isn't worth the negative energy.

  25. Oklahoma's Bigot-in-Chief has Learned Nothing in 10 years
As 9/11 Approaches Sally Kern Still Claims Gays More Dangerous Than Terrorists

(Oklahoma City) By her own words Oklahoma's Bigot-in-Chief, GOPer House Rep. Sally Kern, has learned nothing in ten years.Never missing an opportunity to step out from the shadows of desperation, Mrs. Kern is using the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks to sing yet again her hit-single tune, "Gays are More Dangerous than Terrorists".
