Madonna Album, Super Bowl Reports Leak: VIDEO
Madonnaphile Matt Rettenmund at Boy Culture confirms some details about Madonna's upcoming album.
It's produced by Martin Solveig, William Orbit and Benny Benassi and has a "pop/dance" sound. There's a ballad on it also intended for the soundtrack to Madonna's film W. E., its lead single is "cheer" — (as in cheerleading) —inspired and will be performed at the Super Bowl XLVI on February 5 with Nicki Minaj and MIA, who appear on it, and a tour is planned in the spring.
According to fan site Madonnarama, the "cheer" track is co-produced by Solveig and is called "Give Me All Your Love" and includes "heavy choreography with major cheerleading action!" They add: "The cheerleaders are about to tumble, dance, jump and stunt while cheering some “M-A-D-O-N-N-A” in the stadium while she sings her new song."
They also point to a recent tweet from William Orbit:
Apparently Madonna and Lady Gaga had a battle royale over performing at the Super Bowl which Madonna won, and she'll perform five tracks there.
MadonnaTribe adds: "Photographers Mert and Marcus have been chosen to shoot the new album cover. The photoshoot is happening towards the end of the year but they have already done the campaign for her coming fragrance called Truth Or Dare."
Finally, Matt points us to a rather amusing promo out for Madonna and Lourdes' 'Material Girl' clothing line which has the mother and daughter engaging in a bit of repartee over what's in and what's out.
Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

I won't be buying Madonna's new album. Apart from the fact that it sounds like yet more AutoTuned generic electro-crap, she appears to be homophobic. She's been a member of Kabbalah, a homophobic religion.
Madonna exploited gay men to make money throughout her career. Another thing she did was to use female bisexuality as a marketing ploy to appeal to sleazy straight guys. It wasn't for the benefit of the GLBT cause at all. She appealed to men who hate gay guys - these are the type of men who go ewwww when they see two guys kiss.
In short, a great big ewwwww to Madonna.

Oh boy, she lost me a looong time ago. I guess when she started showing her true bitter, bitchy self on camera. Bye bye!!!

Ugh... the PR blitz begins. In a few months I'll be as sick of her as I am of Lady Gaga.

If that video is any indication of what the new album is going to be like then I predict it will be one giant dud! ZZZZZzzzzzzzz
(pity the poor hair dude!)

the difference between lady gaga and madonna ..is LG IS A LGBT Major Supporter..where Madonna does whatever Helps Madonna ...period. What has Madonna done for the LGBT lately? NOTHING.....except Give money to Hateful African nation
Posted by: Gay American | Oct 28, 2011 9:01:42 AM
^^
Actually Gay American, she doesn't give money to the Hateful African Nation of Malawi, a government she herself says is corrupt, she gives it charites, one of which she founded, that helps/feeds and clothes children orphaned by parents who died of AIDS. I forgive you for not knowing that. It does afterall require some sense to not just post knee-jerk reactionary criticism of someone you don't like because she happens to be someone who is not the same person as someone you do like.

AIDS or no AIDS, it's irrelevant to me.
It always struck me as odd that, having made her gazillions, Madonna's hardly ever said anything positive about gay rights. Even during the gay marriage fights in the many states in recent years, she's basically been silent.
At least Lady Gaga, for all her flaws, has done something of a truly activist nature.

Ugh. Jason and the rest of the trolls have made this site completely unreadable. There used to be a great community here with interesting threads... now every thread is the same, troll croaks and flame war is on.

Madonna @ superbowl is gonna suck...everybody needs a bathroom break
Posted by: Chris | Oct 28, 2011 10:02:26 AM
Wow, could the queens on this site be any more vile? Madonna has been a queen in the industry for almost 30 years. A little respect, no? Even if solely for her drive and perserverence.

Heh. Even playing herself Madonna proves to be an abysmal comic actress. Lola, on the other hand, seems to be a natural. Put her in the movies!

MY GOD - she's a popstar not a superhero! I always look forward to what Madge has up her sleeve next.
Some of the constant negativity gets so old.

@Jason
"AIDS or no AIDS, it's irrelevant to me"
I'm not sure its irrelevant to the orphans. What an enlightened attitude you have, sir! For someone who seems to think activism is so important, (which it is)you seem to be quite heartless in regards to the suffering of others. When I corrected you about the charity thing, would it not have been simply better for you to say, "as much good work as Madonna does in Africa, I think she should be more vocal in supporting LGBT rights in the states?" That resposne would have prevented you from looking like a simple-minded fan ignorantly cheering for his home-team (Lady Gaga) and not the other guys(Madonna) because the other guys are not my team! Those guys suck!

That was clearly scripted with some improvision ... but I thought it was cute and funny. Madonna was definitely poking a bit of fun at herself, and letting Lola do it too. Liked it.

Madonna SLAMS Malawi For Sentencing Gay Couple
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/21/madonna-slams-malawi-for_n_585121.html
Now to whoever said Madonna has said nothing about gay marriage/gay rights. You can just STFU.
Thanks.

Aside from being a major donor to AMFar since it was founded, bringing gay issues to the public eye 20 years before Lady Gaga, writing to Malawi to release the two gay men they had imprisioned which they did... Madonna hasn't done much to help us... ungrateful

Madonna has long featured gay culture and gay people in her music and videos. Whether it helped her (or Lady Gaga, for that matter) to sell records is somewhat immaterial to the positive impact it had. Madonna was also an early champion of the fight against AIDS and in promoting safe sex. She is at a different point in her life and career than Lady Gaga. They have both done an awful lot for gay people. We should be happy to have two strong champions.

Can't you just let it be and stop wasting energy on negativity??? I mean god, some of these comment are just EVIL and mean spirited. If you don't like Madonna don't pay attention and don't buy her music. Simple as that.
Posted by: jeremy | Oct 28, 2011 11:36:01 AM
Dear Jason,
Most religions are homophobic, what's your point? Does Madonna have to join a completely un-anti-gay religion to make you buy her records? REALLY? Then you are not a fan.
Dear Xavier,
I have always loved that bitchy Madonna, she's always been bitchy. What's your point?
Dear Oliver,
This video should represent her album due out next year? REALLY? ummm.... are you high?
Dear Gay American, Madonna has always been "me-first" you don't know that by now?
SOME OF YOU ARE SO NEGATIVE, I WOULD HATE TO EVER MEET YOU!
Holy sheesh!

There wouldn't be a Lady Gaga without Madonna, so you people doing comparison shopping between the two need to step aside.
