Madonnaphile Matt Rettenmund at Boy Culture confirms some details about Madonna's upcoming album.
It's produced by Martin Solveig, William Orbit and Benny Benassi and has a "pop/dance" sound. There's a ballad on it also intended for the soundtrack to Madonna's film W. E., its lead single is "cheer" — (as in cheerleading) —inspired and will be performed at the Super Bowl XLVI on February 5 with Nicki Minaj and MIA, who appear on it, and a tour is planned in the spring.
According to fan site Madonnarama, the "cheer" track is co-produced by Solveig and is called "Give Me All Your Love" and includes "heavy choreography with major cheerleading action!" They add: "The cheerleaders are about to tumble, dance, jump and stunt while cheering some “M-A-D-O-N-N-A” in the stadium while she sings her new song."
They also point to a recent tweet from William Orbit:
Apparently Madonna and Lady Gaga had a battle royale over performing at the Super Bowl which Madonna won, and she'll perform five tracks there.
MadonnaTribe adds: "Photographers Mert and Marcus have been chosen to shoot the new album cover. The photoshoot is happening towards the end of the year but they have already done the campaign for her coming fragrance called Truth Or Dare."
Finally, Matt points us to a rather amusing promo out for Madonna and Lourdes' 'Material Girl' clothing line which has the mother and daughter engaging in a bit of repartee over what's in and what's out.
Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP…
