  2. Congratulations to the lucky couple!

I'm gratified to see that Conan pointed out the "two husband" factor for breaking the glasses but didn't try to make it into a joke.

Respectfully done. Having a ceremony on his show can seem like such a small thing, but it can go a long way towards showing the wider public that two men can love and want to share lives with each other just like a man and a woman can.

  6. Heartiest congratulations to Scott and David!

@SPARKS: May I add to your lovely statement "two women", or for that matter, "two persons can love and want to share their lives with each other".

  17. Somehow I can't imagine Jay Leno or David Letterman doing this on their show without some serious giggling, smirking and joking going on. Thanks Conan O'Brien for not turning this wedding into a homphobic comedy skit.

  22. Congratulations to the happy couple. And I apologize to Conan for all the bitter old queens who wouldn't give him a chance. I for one had no doubt the ceremony would be both respectful and solemn, because a good comedian knows when to stop.
