Morgan Freeman's 'Electric Company' Bath in a Casket: VIDEO
The best part of last night's Golden Globes tribute to actor Morgan Freeman was the brief clip they played from his early job as a cast member on The Electric Company, playing a vampire who bathes in his casket.

Watch, AFTER THE JUMP....

I have to admit, it was pretty amusing. :)

Ah, the Electric Company. Now there's a memory. I always preferred it to Sesame Street.

The first time I saw Morgan Freeman in a movie, in a serious role IIRC, I was sitting in the theater and it was *really* bugging me that he seemed so familiar yet I couldn't place him.
Then it hit me. "OMG it's Easy Reader!" I didn't say it loud but it was a quiet part of the movie. The people around me laughed and someone else said, "It is! It IS Easy Reader!" It was one of those moments when the communal film-watching experience was a joy instead of an annoyance, though that was before people texting and making phone calls through the whole movie.

The Electric Company was fantastic... I mean, Rita Moreno? Morgan Freeman? What's not to like?
