  1. What a great couple of "together" guys. Their story is inspiring and very touching. As someone from Leonard Matlovich's generation, the story of their marriage at his gravesite brought tears to my eyes. Brave soldier--brave spouse, and they are continuing to fight for all our rights. Thank you to both Steven and Josh.

  2. Seriously, a 22 minute video?

Get to the point, honey. I don't have all day long.

  3. Great interview! It was fascinating to hear how DADT affected their lives.

  4. Wait, they got married at Leonard Matlovich's gravesite? How charming. Was Michael Bedwell standing on the tombstone trying to get into all the pictures?

  5. @Alan. They could take an hour if they wanted to. The video is about them not you.
    You Fail!

  6. Please Alan, get an attention span.

  7. It's about you, Alan!

"FAIL"??? That's about as disrespectful as the "boos." Not cool.

I found it an informative, inspiring, and worthwhile 22 minutes+.

Thank you for your service, Mr. Hill.

  9. Thank you for posting this interview. They were both so candid and quite endearing. Great examples for our community. If only we could all be as dignified! (20 min was no too long. 30 second sound bites are so annoying)

  10. Wow! A gay couple talking about their relationship without it being sexualized. That's something totally new. Just two guys in love. It's great.

  11. Friend,
You got through 20 years of constant bigotry and discrimintion.....that is your greatest bravery......I wish you both well, you are both respectful of each other and obviously devoted.

  14. Great guys but I find the interviewer intolerable!

  15. ALAN has to be under the age of 30, with a iPhone in his hand as he texts, surfs the internet, watches videos, and spends no more than 30 seconds with any interaction, and actually thinks he has a life.

  16. Great interview. Wonderful couple - candid, well-spoken.

@Mike C. - curious about why you find the interviewer "intolerable"? I thought he asked relevant questions in a very succinct manner and let his interviewees talk without freely without rushing them or using leading questions like so many other interviewers often do.

  17. Ugh... correction: "...let his interviewees talk freely without rushing them..."

  18. What an amazing couple!

  19. These two fellows really demonstrate how the country is beautifully ARMED!!!

  20. Worth watching the whole interview. It was profound.

  21. A second Alan's sentiments! A 22-minute video is way beyond my time-dedication ability. Get to the point babe! Nonetheless, much respect to them both and especially to Stephen Hill for putting his life on the line for our country and standing-up against the horrific GOP candidates who DO NOT belong anywhere near the Oval Office!
