X-Factor Cleans House: Steve Jones, Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger Not Returning...
Sources tell E! News that Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones aren't the only ones not coming back to X Factor next season. Believe it or not, Fox has informed Simon Cowell's longtime friend Paula Abdul she won't be needed for the series' next installment.
"She found out today," says a show source. "At this point, the only ones staying are Simon and L.A. Reid."
Another source confirms to E! News that both Paula and Nicole were not renewed, "Simon wants to take the show in a different direction," says the insider.
I think they should get rid of Simone Cowell.

after what the producers tried to get steve jones to do to a inconsolable, distraught teenager crying on the floor i don't think the decision was entirely Xfactor's to make...the whole incident was just bad and i never tuned in again...and now lets try to get a reaction from Nicole while she bursts into tears on live Tv as a result of the teenager on the floor...the producers of that show should have been fired, it wasn't even "good TV" its was just exploitation.

Shows like these are just the records companies final death throws. Real talent is going independent, releasing via Youtube and .. megaupload.. (cough). The big boys are therefore just turning modestly able singers into stars to try to keep some sort of revenue stream going for themselves.

Maybe too much attention was being paid to the eye candy and not enough to the celebrity judges? He was dull to watch, though.

Hey Xman and Nick: if you never watch the shows, why do you waste your time coming in to a blog post to not only read about the show but also to post that you never watch. Personally, I could care less about reading about something I don't watch, let alone posting about it.
Personally--I love UK X factor and hope they figure out a way to make the American version just as much fun. Even with a whole new judging panel this year, the UK version was still miles ahead of the US version.

Steve is a really great guy - and one of TV's most gorgeous looking guys ever! He is also intelligent and VERY charming. He is also MEGA endowed in the love department. I know - because I have seen it... Best wishes to Steve: the UK loves you babe, anyway!
