Mitt Romney Blasts Prop 8 Ruling

Mitt Romney attacked the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals today after it upheld the decision striking down Proposition 8:

Mitt_romney“Today, unelected judges cast aside the will of the people of California who voted to protect traditional marriage. This decision does not end this fight, and I expect it to go to the Supreme Court. That prospect underscores the vital importance of this election and the movement to preserve our values. I believe marriage is between a man and a woman and, as president, I will protect traditional marriage and appoint judges who interpret the Constitution as it is written and not according to their own politics and prejudices.”

  3. Romney, a guy whose grandfather fled to Mexico so he could live with his many wives and Newt who has had many wives don't think gay people should be allowed to have just one. Is this a great country or what?

  7. I'm really over the GOP bigotry against equality. If the GOP nomination is going to perceive equality on all fronts as "impending doom", then they are not worthy of America's votes. We'd be fools to allow bigotry and prejudice another term in the White House. Go away, Mitt... Just go away.
