  2. the irony - one story about a bigot saying LGBT people shouldn't be protected from workplace discrimination, and another where Republicans claim workplace discrimination for being republicans.

  7. Who gives a rat f*** if Dan Savage signs with CAA? Why is that news?

  8. It's news because you find it annoying.

Michael Fassbender is babe-a-liciousness personified. And he's a teriffic actor too.

  10. @David Ehrenstein, I find it annoying when people leave their dog's sh** on the street. Is that also news?

    Posted by: Oliver | Jun 4, 2012 5:32:00 PM

  11. @Oliver, hating Dan Savage will only make you miserable. It won't make Dan Savage miserable. In fact, it won't even affect his life.

  12. @Ambrose, don't read into things. I've posted dozens of comments defending Dan Savage on HuffPost. I like the man. I just don't know why his signing a contract for representation is news?

    Posted by: Oliver | Jun 4, 2012 5:41:56 PM

  13. There was a time when actors were dropped from agencies when their homosexual orientations were made public, or news was getting out. In too many ways it still exists.

That polarizing lightning-rod Savage can attain representation is, indeed, a good and encouraging sign.
