NJ Bed & Breakfast Owners Rip Lesbian Mom on Facebook, Tell Her God Invented AIDS to Punish 'Queers'

Joianne Fraschilla, a lesbian mother, is planning a protest after seeing an anti-gay sign promoting "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day" and "One Man One Woman Marriage" posted outside the Whitebriar Bed and Breakfast (which also has an 'animal farm') in her town of Edgewater Park, New Jersey, and writing the owners on Facebook to express her disappointment:

"This is somewhere my son loves to pass by and we have been excited to visit. Not anymore. I'm sad to see a local business anti LGBT marriage."

She was not prepared for the response she received:

Isn't it wonderful Joanne Fraschilla, that you and your son can enjoy the animals here because I have a traditional marriage with a husband who works with me 90 hours a week to take care of these animals, and the summer camp....we're 66-68 years old....there were no gays or queers in our time.....if two old ladies chose to live be it, let them deal with God when they get there...but to have the "face sucking" thrown in my face of two gay lesbians who are totally destroying the "normal balance in a child's life" as you claim your son...where is the role model that your son needs to know how to act like a man? or will he only see the "one sided selfishness" of a "single parent"...and end up an out cast in society by being "gay" himself because he didn't have a father as a role model. I'll pray for you....remember what the bible says: "Lay down with dogs, get up with fleas".....guess that's why God invented aids....

Now she's planning a protest and wants the owners to apologize.

  1. Such fear. Sad.

  2. Hate to break it to the "nice" typical Christian lady, but "Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas" is found no where in the Bible. It's from Poor Richard's Almanac.

Not that that dumbass will believe me.

  3. Is it ok to laugh a little bit that this supposed "christian" is quoting Poor Richard's Almanac as the Bible? Facts,People...,. Facts!!

  4. Personally, I'd skip the protest. Make a donation to a progressive org in their name & move on with your lives & wait for the next flu season, maybe you'll get lucky.

  5. Here's their business URL too,
In case anyone wants to leave a message on their business page.

  6. This is what passes for a Bed and Breakfast in New Jersey?

It looks like a complete dump. I wouldn't be caught dead staying there if they were the most gay supportive people on earth!

  7. They're free to post their hatred on their front yard, but very very stupid business move on the part of the B&B. I have a feeling that recently married gay couples wouldn't be welcome in their "Honeymoon Suite" and that their "Valentine's Day Tea Party" may not be gay-friendly despite its gay name. They might as well put a sign out inviting "potential guests" to test their non-discrimination policy or contact them in various ways to see how hospitable the lovely innkeepers really are.

When are these people going to learn that it's not 1950 anymore?

  8. Bible knowledge and grammar are clearly not the old bat's strong points. The Bible doesn't say anything about "lying down with dogs" and NO ONE, outside of her uneducated trailer park, says "LAYING down with dogs".

  9. Idiots. You're losing good business! When will people learn that if you hate something hate it in private! Its the right way to be ignorant!

  10. what poisonous, hateful people.... and by the looks of their places, they know ALL about waking up with fleas (even if they don't know where the quote REALLY comes from!)... Their God must cringe when seeing just how dark and full of spite and meanness their hearts are!

  11. And I agree, Zeke, it does look like a dump! That sign is as despicable for its cheap porn-theater graphics as for its hate speech. And the house looks like it would be more hospitable for vermin than for people.

  12. Doesn't NJ have laws against this type of discrimination by a public business? I realize federal law doesn't cover sexual orientation, but I would have thought state law in NJ would cover non-discrimination against the LGBT community.

  13. Every B&B needs a cheap plastic sign on wheels in the front yard. And they have it backward (the chaser light arrow is pointing the wrong way).

  14. It was not that long ago that the "Christians" would not do business with "black" people just because of their color. You know, last week; the First Baptist Church of Crystal Springs in Jackson, MS.

  15. Nice "family values," bigots. I hope someone uses their "2nd Amendment right" to blow a hole in that sign.

  16. OMG I called this woman at her B&B at (609) 871-3859.

I asked if they served "Bigot Burgers" at the B&B. All the sudden she starts blowing a screachy rape whistle into the phone. Obviously she was in no mood to talk. Try it yourself (just don't hold the phone too close to your ear).

  17. An LGBT couple should try to rent a room there and see if they are denied, because I'm pretty sure this falls under New Jersey's Law Against Discrimination:

I'm not sure if NJ defines public accommodation broadly enough to include a B & B, but most states do and New Jersey's law is among the more liberal nationwide.

  18. On the child..the Christ must really be shakeing His head. If a womans husband was to die before she gave birth, does that also mean the child will not be raised right? Come on! And to blame God for AIDS? Really? A another poster said...Its poor Richards Alamnac! "Lie down with dogs...."
Just another example of Christians who really do not know WHAT they believe.

  19. Maybe the owner will open a seaside location in Ocean Grove. It's a hellish summer in New Jersey for the LGBT tribe. Even Johnny Mathis had to cancel a concert because he needs a hip replacement!

  20. I grew up two blocks from this establishment in the1960's and 1970's. Great big catholic family wih 7 kids. We delivered the Burlington County Times to this address. How's this for irony? Three of her paper boys from this family grew up to be happily gay. And I'm sure this is no surprise - she was never friendly.

  21. Typical Christian of that age - perhaps a bit ruder and meaner, but the ignorance and hypocrisy is about the same. Just sickening - as usual.

  22. Heavens, imagine if a black person tried to stay here.

BTW, in jurisdictions where there is a Charter of Human Rights, such as Canada and the UK, the courts would have a field day with them.

  23. Let's see... "Lie down with dogs..." I think that was in the book of Bigot, Chapter 6 verse 9.

  24. Why do so many mentally ill people gravitate towards religion and the ridiculous right wing Republican Party ?

  25. I chose to email this at her web site. Visit the site and do what you want. Today, I just can't stomach the hate.

"You poor, victim, soul. Satan has so poisoned your heart with hate that you are now an instrument of evil. Where is Jesus in your reply to Joanne Fraschilla? Step back and look at what you have done from the outside and try to find Jesus. Look at what you have created in His name. When did Jesus ever judge with such vehement hatred as you have done? Pray to be forgiven for the evil that you have created and brought into this world. It is already a living celebrity of hatred and intolerance that you created at the cost of your own grace.

Pray that you have the strength not to be misled and to recognize Satan even when he claims to be Jesus. Jesus will forgive you, asking only in return that you "Go and sin no more." Too late in my life did I realize that "WWJD?" is not a childish interpretation, but rather a simple truth.

You are capable of more love than this. Love better.

    Please remember Romans 14:10-13"
