Kirk Cameron: God 'Is' the Platform of the United States - VIDEO

Cameron

Kirk Cameron whined about the Democratic Party platform 'God' kerfuffle to a wingnut crowd that included Rick Santorum, Harry Jackson, Jim Garlow, and Rick Scarborough on a nationwide simulcast from the Family Research Council broadcast over the weekend called "iPledge Sunday: A Call to Faith, Family, and Freedom" calling on Christians to make their voices heard on election day.

"Our forefathers would be rolling over in our graves to hear what we are discussing - the sanctity of life - really? The definition of marriage - really? Religious freedom - really? They would be appalled."

  4. Oh just feel his ardent pounding heart formed in the heat of igorance.

In fact many of our founding fathers were profoundly suspect about Christianity as such, most were Deists, not convinced at all that the Bible was the last word in moral direction. What, after all, can you say in defense of stoning women and children.

  6. Come on people... This has-been from two decades ago is simply doing anything he can to get his face back in front of the public... As for these wing nuts calling up what our 'fore fathers' would think of path this country is on, well they were upset about taxation with out representation and they wanted to worship in a way that wasn't popular with the "status quo".. Does any of this sound familiar?

  14. Mike Seaver- Griffith Park must be calling you; isn't how you fight the demons ----sermonize in your sanctimonious way about the magic man in the sky? Keep opening up your mouth ---something truthful is bound to come out eventually-or fall into it.

  15. Oh, he's correct in that they would be appalled - appalled that these religious lunatics are trying infiltrate the government and turn this great democracy into a theocracy, and undermine everything that generations before us have fought for.

  16. The First Amendment says otherwise. Ok, moving on.

Some of our Founding Fathers also owned slaves, human beings they considered to be animals and things to be left in a will as inheritance to their children. They may be rolling over in their graves because of a lot of ways we civilized Americans have become decent human beings over the louts our Founding Fathers were such as computers made possible by the genius of a gay man, men wearing pants and flats instead of heals, tight capris, stockings, wigs, & vests with flowers on them, black human beings working side by side with white people, black people marrying white people, black people voting, Native Americans voting, women voting, women working, women wearing pants and flats instead of a dress and heals, the list goes on forever.

But you know what our Founding Fathers are REALLY rolling over in their graves for? The Reichpublican party violating the first amendment and hating freedom so much with a passion unbecoming of civilized human beings.

"God" is NOT the platform of the United States because the first amendment says so. That is a legal FACT that cannot be contested and I will NOT be forced to adhere to Kirk's fascist anti-freedom parasitic EVIL "God", of this I am sure.

    **** bless.

  20. He is aware of history of the United States right? That the forefathers came here to escape religous persicution and it is the reason religous freedom is written into the constitution? I love asking these nuts "do you eat shelfish?"

  23. If only the majority of Americans didn't agree with this idiot about the founders all being right wing conservative Christians that believed that knowledge was a tool of Satan and the Bible is the perfect word of God, including all of the genocide and rules for beating and selling slaves, men raping the women they want to marry, stoning children for being disobedient, killing unbelievers, killing men and women that lay with the same sex, and raping and pillaging your enemies when at war.for the life of me, I can't figure out why anyone would want the god of tge Bible blessing America.

  24. Many of our Founding Fathers would also be appalled that we have abolished slavery and horror of horrors: we have a mixed race president in the White House. They would be appalled that we have women Justices on the US Supreme Court and horror of horrors we have a woman Secretary of State. They would be appalled that we have women and "negro" members of Congress. Who gives a s*it. They lived hundreds of years ago. We have changed for the better.
