Mitt Romney Admits Defeat In Florida

Mitt Romney's presidential campaign finally conceded Florida to President Obama today, but they're not exactly being the most gracious losers.

"The numbers in Florida show this was winnable," Romney Florida adviser Brett Doster told the Miami Herald.

"We thought based on our polling and range of organization that we had done what we needed to win. Obviously, we didn’t, and for that I and every other operative in Florida has a sick feeling that we left something on the table. I can assure you this won’t happen again."

Not for Romney, at least.

  1. Nice map. Notice that the red states are the states with more cow pies than people and the old South that still can't get over losing the Civil War. (We all know what cow pies are made of.)

The blue states are where the money and the brains are. Can you imagine a red state nation conducting a foreign war on its own?

With internet access spreading rapidly the old style politics of the Republicans is doomed. A few changes in our antiquated electoral process would make the Republican Party dependence on geography obsolete.
