Obama Wins by a Landslide in Hart's Location, NH and Ties Romney in Dixville Notch: VIDEO


Two New Hampshire towns are the first in the nation to vote, at midnight last night. As per usual, the results were immediately tallied.

In Dixville Notch, Obama and Romney received five votes each.

In Hart's Location, Obama won by a landslide, receiving 23 votes to Romney's 9. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson received a single vote.

  2. Isn't New Hampshire one of Romney's "home states"? I like the Hart's Location results, Dixville (or in this case Dicks-ville) Knox, not so much. I want Obama to win by BIG numbers and put Romney away for a long time.

  4. What's interesting is the indepedent vote was split 3 for President Obama and 2 for Govenor Romney. I think this split of independent votes will be repeated nationwide and will give Obama the edge he needs to win.
