Elijah Wood's Last Day As Hobbit Frodo Baggins: VIDEO
After twelve years, six films and billions of dollars, Frodo Baggins is off-set. In this video, viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at actor Elijah Wood's final day playing the heroic hobbit and hear how he and director Peter Jackson feel about calling it a wrap. Spoiler: they're sad.
Watch it AFTER THE JUMP...

Sorry, but this is from the first three installment, not from now. I've seen the final hug –although edited- years ago. Furthermore; Peter Jackson was fat, later he slimmed up.
So it's NOT the after 12 years final.

I've loved the character of Frodo for more than forty years and fell for Elijah Wood's Frodo at first sight, reading under that tree.... a lovely, underrated performance.
His performance was so natural and restrained that there was never occasion to notice how great his acting was. is.

Wait....there were 6 films? I thought the three Lord of the Rings trilogy and the new Hobbit movie were it? What were the other two?

There will be 2 more Hobbit films. Yes, they are stretching the material for profit.

I guess that is what it is like to put the last dab of paint on a masterpiece.
