At least Frank Ocean sang live, unlike Chris Brown who was once a capable live singer but lately takes the lazy route and mimes most of his performances (not to mention his personal issues). I also wondered if this was the Academy's way of sticking it to Chris Brown.

Frank is the real deal. Channel Orange was a game changer. Too bad his performance was so off. Forrest Gump is one of my favorite tracks. People that don't get Frank probably don't even understand the new school of R&B. My favorite R&B album since D'Angelo's Voodoo.
