  1. Yeah. FAA air controller furloughs actually inconvenience people who have enough money to fly places. Meanwhile, the government can't fund chemotherapy for cancer patients on Medicare/Medicaid, and Head Start programs are frozen in place.

  5. Jerry - Medicare is not refusing to pay for chemo- it is refusing to pay excessive charges submitted by these commercial "cancer centers".

    Head Start is a waste of money. It always has been. Schools are for teaching, they aren't daycare centers. Neither are they care facilities for the mentally retarded or emotionally disturbed.

  7. I know it's disgusting-- I only do this once a month-- but I love eating a sausage n egg McMuffin and hashbrown from McD's, with salt sprinkled on-- so knowing this will be available all day is actually NOT good news!
