Michele Bachmann: No More Republican Presidents if Obama Passes Immigration — VIDEO

M_bachmann

Michele Bachmann paid a visit to WorldNetDaily to rally the wingnut troops on immigration reform, painting a stark picture for the future of the bigoted GOP should legislation pass, Right Wing Watch reports.

Said Bachmann: "We will never again have a Republican president — ever — if amnesty goes into effect. We will perpetually have a progresive liberal president, probably a Democrat...You will never again be able to see our country return to its constitutional foundations."

Watch, AFTER THE JUMP...

  2. Latinos are actually much more progressive than the general US population, and white Americans in particular. In a few different surveys, Latinos support same-sex marriage at about a 10% higher rate than whites. This may reflect the fact that Latinos in the US are a younger population on the whole, and some of them are from countries that have a slightly higher rate of gay acceptance than the US (Mexico, Chile and Argentina).

  3. She's right, IF you assume that the Republicans have no capacity to change and adapt to the new demographic.

  4. @Pedro Why do you think citizenship is so important for these (overwhelmingly poor and undeducated) people? Because they love America so much? (Yeah, right, go to a soccer game in Los Angeles between the Mexican national team and the US national team sometimes.....and see which team all these would-be patriotic citizens are cheering for).

No, their dream is the dream of impoverished, uneducated people all over the Third World--get into a developed country where you will be "taken care of".

It is not an accident that the most economically backwards regions on the planet are sub-Saharan Africa, Central America, and the Carribean. That is quite simply a reflection of the cultural mindset of the people who inhabit those places. And that mindset does not magically change when they find their way to the Great Entitlement Society in the Sky. Hell, even without being citizens, they get free healthcare--which is why every ER in LA County is clogged 24/7 with non-emergency cases.

And they don't achieve academically, even after being here for 2-3 generations.....in sharp contrast to Asians, for example, who often out-achieve native whites in the FIRST generation.

I'm sorry, but the truth is the truth, whether it hurts your feelings or not.

A country with a Third World population base is going to have Third World economic status and Third World social policies.....so if you all want to turn your country into that, that is your choice, but I promise you you will regret the decision deeply, if you do, political correctness notwithstanding.

  5. Re: Rick "The main point I'm making..."

I'm hesitant to even respond to this post because I find it hard to believe that it's authentic, but as there remains a possibility that the post is genuine, I feel it deserves a response.

Seriously... Come on seriously. Liberals are the reason you're completely closeted. I grew up and still live in the rural south, in the bible belt, surrounded by rednecks and Southern Baptists. If you really believe that Liberals are the reason that you're still in the closet find a therapist. Liberals are the reason I can be out around my friends and family. Liberals paved the way for me to be out in my community. The only difference between the ultra-right and Islamists they are so afraid of is the color of their skin and the name by which they call their God.

  9. No, your limp-wristed liberal extremist. You're probably effeminate.

When are you liberals going to learn that if we, as gay men, simply give anti-gay conservatives what they want then they'll leave us alone?

If you guys did what I did and simply pretended you weren't gay in public, and worked hard to make sure nobody knows that you're gay, then there would be no problem.

  10. @rayrayj The comment beginning with "The point I'm making...." was not posted by me, the real Rick. It was posted by Little Kiwi, acting as an impostor, as he often does, when confronted with truths that make him terribly uncomfortable.

Yes, you are right, liberals have advanced gay rights legislatively. But the battle to eradicate homophobia should never have been a political battle in the first place--it is, in essence, a cultural battle......and my point is that, not only in the US, but globally (including in Latin America), that cultural change is largely confined to people of European descent.....so if you go from being a country where the majority of the population is of European descent to one where the majority is not, you can expect that to be reflected in attitudes towards homosexuality.

And at some point, gay white liberals are not going to be able to bury their heads in the sand and avoid facing that reality, whether it comes sooner or later.

  11. @ rayrayj,

no, that posting was not from the real Rick. It's from someone who knows the only way to deal with Rick's Nazi views is to ridicule him and his beliefs.

Rick's views are right off some White supremacist website. The same White supremacists who would lynch Rick if he was openly Gay.

  13. Rick, your fear is both unfounded and, well, as racist as Bachmann. "Brown people" as you call them, are disproportionately Catholic and tend to be conservative on family matters when they immigrate. However, as their children grow up - just like white people - they tend to be more liberal on gay issues. Moreover, since the virulently anti-gay, racist white GOP loses their vote, it actually increases the support for gay rights to expand because the political party sabotaging them loses power. Your fears are not serving you well. Re-examine them for your own sake.

  14. ...and this would be a problem, why?

  15. "Moreover, since the virulently anti-gay, racist white GOP loses their vote, it actually increases the support for gay rights to expand because the political party sabotaging them loses power"

Only as long as white liberals--who are the sole driving force behind gay rights--still possess the real power and have the final say in the Democratic Party. At some point, they are going to become such a small minority within it, that they will no longer be able to dictate terms and will become irrelevant.....and the non-white majority will be able to ignore them on gay rights.....and they certainly will.

That will happen sooner than you realize.

Regardless, if the only way to advance gay rights is to flood the country with entitlement-seeking illiterates from the most backwards precincts of the Third World who will destroy the country'e economic viability and standard of living in the process, then it is not worth the price.

Who cares whether you can get married or not if the country around you looks increasingly like Guatemala or Haiti?

You can all spew your left-wing rhetoric and scream "racism" to your little heart's content, but underneath that facade, you understand my point perfectly well.....

And with that, I am finished with this thread......

  19. Democrats have always had more violent homophobes than Republicans. Most gay bashings occur in heavily Democrat voting districts. Mark the attacks on a map, it's a fact. And it's been that way for a decades. Blacks, blue-collar whites, immmigrants are typical violent homophobic groups of the Democrats.

  20. It's curious how strongly those opposed to change will clasp the rope to hold back progress. As the blood runs and drips from their elbows they will all the while smile and tell you how things are great just as they are, no change needed here! Well guess what, the world IS changing, not just the United States. Keep holding that rope tight as you wish but times are changing all around you, welcome to the new world.

  23. Rick's comment was still there, but I question why someone with those views is on this site. Not that it's restricted to gay people or Liberals, but he sounds a little overly sensitive. Closet case maybe?
