Homophobia_meric

This morning we reported on the horrific attack on 18-year-old French progressive activist who is brain dead after an attack by a group of three neo-Nazi skinheads in Paris last night.

Video has emerged of Meric marchiing in an April demonstration in Paris, carrying a banner reading "homophobia kills".

At least one prominent French activist Pierre Bergé implicated the anti-gay marriage movement known as "Manif Pour Tous" for the attack on Meric.

    Why are you so wrong.

I think it is a long stretch to paint Clement's tragic death as an anti-gay crime, but it is true that antifas have demonstrated against anti-equal marriage protesters, and that fascists groups have tried to associate themselves with the anti-equal marriage protests.

  2. @Kev C: You're warping history to suit your opposition to the left. There is no anti-gay equivalency between the group Clement Meric (who stood up against homophobia) belonged to and the anti-gay right who spearheaded the violent, homophobic demonstrations around the marriage law. The leftist parties in Europe aren't attacking gay people. You sound like a neo-Nazi propagandist when you make such ludicrous statements.

  3. The only reason people join an anti-fascist group is to stomp on skinheads and fight neo-nazis. That's it.

I reinterate, Clement would still be alive if he listened to people like me. And he'd still be dead if he listened to people like Ernie.

  4. I reiterate, you sound like a neo-Nazi propagandist, one with both delusions of history and delusions of grandeur.

  5. I reiterate, Ernie is just a closet fascist, as are all leftists. Fascism is just an extension of leftism, it always has been.

Black is white and white is black.

FASCIST Kev C. is such a joke. Don't crazy people always spill out nonsense like he does?

  7. The Fasci movement started as radical leftists. These are the origins of fascism, dumbo. This is where Mussolini came from. Read it, you might actually learn something about fascism.

Btw, the Nazis were socialists! Huge welfare state, government hand-out socialists! I know it sounds incredible to the uneducated but it's true.

Maybe you should assume that it is you who is uneducated. You are only discovering now that Fascism and Nazism are anti-capitalistic movements, finding their support with the poorest, and coming to power in time of deep economical crisis.

Assimilating socialism to Fasci to fascism is like saying that the Pope is jew because Jesus was.

Also, you blaming Clement for his death is like blaming a gay kid for being beaten to death for being gay. If he had only listened to you...

Oh and btw, Clement was a student at Science Po, one of the most elite school in France and in the world.

  9. Is the Pope jewish? It depends on whether you accept that Christianity is a jewish sect (it was) that required conversion to Judaism (it did), which meant accepting the tenets of the Torah and Old Testament (it does).

At a certain point, denial is it's own reality. Christians are not jews because they deny being jews, and nothing more. Similar to marxists and fascists. They both hate each other but are formed from the same impulses.

  10. @Kev C

Yeah, as long as it makes sense in your own head.
