Why Were There So Few Cicada Sightings in New York City? - VIDEO

  1. The Cicadas always remind me of summer - I sincerely hope that humanity won't drive them to extinction. These bugs can be pests in large numbers, but they still have their own kind of natural beauty.

  4. Strange video. The most prominent skyline shot is actually Cincinnati, not NYC. The cicadas there have no difficulty taking over the urban landscape, although they are a different brood and on a different cycle.
