Daniel Radcliffe Enjoys Dane DeHaan's Lamp Crotch Antics in 'Kill Your Darlings' Clip: VIDEO

Young beat poet Allen Ginsberg (Daniel Radcliffe) is enamored by Lucien Carr's (Dane DeHaan) library antics as Carr stands on a table, recites a filthy Henry Miller quote, and rams a lamp up his crotch, in a new clip from the forthcoming flick Kill Your Darlings.

The film has an October 18 release date.

  1. Looks like fun.
So much interest in the Beats lately. Walter Salles' film of "On the Road" was much better than critics gave it credit for -- and the public didn't show up. (Put it on your Netflix queque)

"Harry Potter Goes Gay" will doubtless garner much interest.

There's also a film of Jack Kerouac's "Big Sur" with Jean-Marc Barr as Jack that's very very good.

  2. Columbia seems much more interesting back then...

  3. I'm not sure what I think about the movie (I'm not that into beat poetry... sorry, I've tried), however, Dane Dehaan is not only adorable, but an incredible talent. Radcliffe isn't so bad himself -- in either facet.

  4. I'll watch it. I'm a sucker for the Beats. DaRad is miscast imo, but hopefully he'll draw some of his Harry Potter fan base who otherwise might never be exposed to Allen Ginsberg and the other Beat writers.
