  3. Seriously? No National celebrities who were black during segregation, like we have Ellen DeGeneres today? No Sammy Davis Jr., Ella Fitzgerald, Sidney Poitier, Lena Horne, etc., etc., How about Hattie McDaniel winning an Oscar in 1939? Of course no two forms of discrimination are just alike, but c'mon...

  4. Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte contains no pumpkin. At. All.

The egg thing is BS, as is apples preventing alzheimer's.

The smell of pumpkin pie is mostly the spices that go into it. And it's only an aphrodisiac if you are a stomach; now hand over that pie and nobody gets hurt!

  5. Sammy had a white girlfriend. Ella was singing. Sydney was making interracial relationship movies. Leno Horne could pass for white. Hattie was no public figure. Let's stretch things so gays can ride the same pity wagon as Blacks. The masses have been fooled once--time to be quiet. It worked.
