  6. Anyone who becomes famous young is almost certainly doomed to tragedy. This column alone covers LaBeouf, Cyrus, and Bieber, and there will most certainly be many more posts about these sad forever-children so removed from having normal lives.

  7. @Patti Stanger--

Looking at those pictures of bi-sexuals, wow, the number of women!

It goes to show that this culture allows women this option more than men. You notice the very few men claiming such a thing. Of course, that has to do, I suspect, with our culture disapproving of boys being gay. They're all probably a lot of guys out there who are bi-sexual but it is not acceptable to own up to it.

And, still you really shouldn't do that in Hollywood Bad for your image in "liberal" Hollywood, even though it is portrayed in the movies and tv as acceptable. Any actor knows that in real life, it is still a no-no. You've still got to be one of the boys.

For girls, well, they're morally weak and men are morally strong, and they have to keep those ladies on the straight and narrow. After all, witness all the stag films of girls making out with girls, seen in all the frat houses. Tsk, tsk, go to rescue those chicks right now!

  8. Patti the Matchmaker is ignorant to make comments like: "Bisexual women are not the women you want to be the mother of your children."

At the same time, a lot of the ignorance on the part of society is understandable considering how many bisexuals refuse to come out.

I would guess that for every 100 bisexuals who identify honestly and publicly as bisexual, there are perhaps 500 bisexuals who (falsely) identify publicly as straight, 200 more who are gay and identify (falsely) as bisexual and and another 25 true bisexuals who (falsely) identify as gay.

Those numbers are random guesses, but my point is that when people encounter bisexuals or people claiming a bisexual identity, the proportion of the time that a deceptive identity is being used is disproportionate.

The only way society's understanding will improve is by having bisexual family members, friends and celebrities being open and honest. Some bisexuals are waiting for society to open up first, but the momentum of increased understanding will only come from the momentum of more openness.

  10. I actually watched the TMZ video of the Bieber incident. I love how the (not very) little girl calls 911 and nervously says "I'd like to place an assault". Maybe it's time to teach kids how to call emergency services.

  12. Shia is a no talent the lucked into a franchise that would have been succesful with micky mouse as the star, his 15 have been over for a while. Stars should take notes from Bomer's play book. Talent, educated, and above all, always classy!
