1. DamFine says

I often wonder if his parents had any children that were not brain-damaged; idiocy runs rampant on the Right!

  2. Ben in Oakland says

” Because I love black males.”

Any more Freudian slips and you’re going to throw your back out.

I believe that should be amended to BIG black males.

  3. Chrislam says

If anything, gay marriage would encourage gays to enter into monogamous relationships and thereby minimize the promiscuity. It’s not a 100% deterrent but it moves the needle in the right direction.

  4. Lymis says

Because homosexuality spontaneously generates the HIV virus in other people, targeted by race. Every time a lesbian couple marries, another black man gets AIDS.

  5. Graphicjack says

@Ben In Oakland – nah, he love BBC… Big black ¢0¢k

Looks like he’s taking a page out if NOMs play book…. Divide the minority’s up by pitting them against one another. His logic is so faulty, it’s giving me a headache, but if you’re a bigot, do you really want all that pesky logic to get in the way of your holy than thou opinion?

  6. FFS says

Yes, because making homosexuality punishable by death has down wonders curbing the epidemic in Africa.

  7. Darthlol says

Wow, Mother Time really hasn’t been very kind to Bryan, has she? He looks RAVAGED by years of pushing prejudice. I wonder if he wears contact lenses to hide his yellow&red eyes and a wig to hide his wrinkly head; and I wonder if he shoots force lightning out of his hands like an evil sith lord…

  8. Robert M. says

I really wish Bryan Fischer would end up in the wrong place at one of those mass shootings that so called conservatives love so much..,

  9. andrew says

His remarks are yet another example of the Right Wings desperation over the fact that LGBT equality is winning in the cultural war. They are on the wrong side of history in the movement toward full LGBT equality and increasingly, they know it.

  10. JoshG says

Who wants to tell him that homosexuality is decriminalized in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and all of East Asia, Europe, Central America (except Belize) and South America (except Guyana).

Many of the remaining countries are predominantly Muslim or dirt-poor.

Of course he is welcome to live in any of them.

  11. Michael Fitzgerald says

Oh, Bryan, Bryan, Bryan… talk about a Freudian slip of the tongue! I have to wonder, though, does your wife know you like BBC???

  12. Bill says

Meanwhile, some years ago, a Black columnist, Cynthia Tucker, wrote a column about how homophobia was killing blacks – people were literally afraid to be seen even just going in or out of an office that provided public health information about preventing the transmission of the HIV virus as people would assume they were gay.

If anyone is responsible for the relatively large HIV rate among blacks it is people like Brian Fischer who are promoting the homophobic attitudes that kept people so closeted that they wouldn’t even pick up a brochure telling you how to reduce your risks.

  13. Craig says

Mr Fischer, yes, I don’t doubt for a moment that you “love” black males … now that you’ve come out of the closet, could you stop the self loathing, and promptly remove yourself to say, Nigeria, where your criminalization scheme is already in play. Or perhaps you’d prefer something in the order of the Central African Republic? BTW, how welcome is your friend that got the Russian parliament to vote your favorite anti-gay legislation, right before their big party in front of the entire world? Putin inviting you guys back now that you’ve made him the laughing stock of the world?

  14. anon says

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

    Abraham Lincoln

  15. Acronym Jim says

Fischer went on to say “and black females, like all females can just go f*ck themselves.”

  16. jamal49 says

Proofreading as always, I think the phrase should read “…systemic inequalities in place…”.

That said, one wonders where the hell does Bryan Fischer get his facts or statistics! His inaccurate statements are being spread far and wide on the right-wing propaganda circuits, that “homosexuality” is a threat to straight black men. For the record, straight black men don’t have sex with other men, Bryan. Therefore, there is no “threat”.

However, the troubling spike in HIV infection rates among young, gay black men and latino men are probably due to two factors: the misconception that HIV infection does not necessarily lead to full-blown AIDS anymore because of new treatment protocols, and the lack of honest, unbiased information and counseling to educate people about responsible sexual activity.

Once again Bryan Fischer and his extremist, evangelical sycophants are propagating lies and misinformation to advance a homophobic agenda.

One also must wonder who vets Bryan Fischer’s propaganda statements. The man sounds like he’s got a DL thing going on for black men. Toe-tap much, Bryan?
