But it will not be easy. They must painstakingly double-check each signature for any hint that county elections officials erred. Statewide, nearly 132,000 were disqualified while about 487,500 were found to be valid."

  1. Bob Shrum? The man behind more losing campaigns in history? Yes, that's the advice to take. Particularly since the administration has retroactively reversed out both the corporate and individual mandate and allowed non-compliant insurance policies to remain on the books and has exempted unions and a whole slew of individuals from various reporting requirements, this is exactly the sort of record to run on. After the primaries, it will be Hillary Clinton and not Barack Obama that Democrats will be asking to campaign for them.

  2. The transgenders are going to be defeated in CA and LGBs should be glad if that happens.

I doubt that the opponents of the transgender locker room law can recoup enough signatures in order to make the ballot. Buuut- they are free to try again. The number of signatures they would need would increase a bit, but they would get alot more time to do the gathering. This is going to happen.

Why shouldn't LGBs empty their wallets and spend all their time helping transgenders? Because transgenders never help us. They use us. They exploit us. And they actively oppose gay rights when it suits them. LGBT is a lie used to capture our movement and redirect our resources to them.

The anti-T side in this fight is equally bad. So let the 2 sides fight it out themselves. The Ts will demand that we fight their war for them like slaves, but the answer should be a resounding "no and get stuffed!"

  3. I genuinely respect P!nk. I think she's extremely talented, smart and a better role model than most pop stars. I just think her efforts would be more effective helping the thousands of rescue horses out there. If she's going to spend money ... why not sponsor some of the horses who are already in serious need ... here's just one example of the many equine sanctuaries that are desperate for funds -->

  4. Anti-Transgender rhetoric on a Gay blog is down right silly. Transgender folk have always been part of the Gay world.

Gay and Transgender are umbrella terms that include a whole bunch of folks.

  5. The "underwear model of the century" had me guessing Jim Palmer, who back in the 1970s was gracing pages of Newsweek and TIME magazine in Jockey ads, or maybe Marky Mark for Calvin. Beckham. Yeah right, to stroke his ego. But you're not.

  6. The anti-T sentiment I sometimes witness in the gay community is particularly vile, considering we wouldn't be where we are today without the help of our trans sisters and brothers.

And even if you don't see the clear connection, have you no empathy?

  7. Derrick, most trans people are not gay. They can have any sexual orientation. Sexual orientation and gender identity are 2 different things. Also, "gay" is not an umbrella term. It has a specific meaning. And it does not mean "straight person with gender dysphoria."

Mikey, what is vile is that trans activists exploit gay people for their own gain while doing nothing in return. If they want to be allies, then it has to be an alliance of mutual benefit. What they really want is to hijack our identity, to have us believe that gay people require Ts in order to be whole and complete.

  8. Transgenders are homophobes and sexual freaks, it's still considered a mental disorder in many developed countries. They are the people who do the most harm to GLB community and who hate GLB people the most.

  9. Hey did you know? Most trans people actually only have sex with ornamental shrubberies. Also, trans people steal gay folks' babies in order to make them into activism slaves. Trans people are the ones who actually shot Harvey Milk!

  10. Ignore the transphobe trolls. I love how they must be fuming every time a non-discrimination law for transgenders passes. Obviously transgender people including kids are bullied for perceived homosexuality. LGBT forever baby!

  11. You say trolls, but we all know it's one guy under a bunch of different names.

  12. @SPACECADET no it's trans activists like you who want to turn gay kids into transgendered freaks, you must be required to stay away from children as far as possible, preferably locked in mental hospital

  13. Leave it to Litper to say something that makes my satirically over the top comment seem not-that-far-off.

  14. Oh ya, watch for crazy flakes LITPER who has the nerve to suggest that someone else "be locked in a mental hospital".

  15. Transsexuality is a mental disease, it's not my "suggestion" it's a fact in many developed nations; if you want trans paradise then go to Iran where gay people are executed or forced to become trans

  16. Unrelated to most of the commentary here, but Jared Leto's short hair photo is old. He sort of said that when he posted it. Not sure who at Lainey Gossip is too dense to pick up on that or subsequent Intragram photos where he still clearly has long hair.
