  2. A film is more than its "plot." This looks good.

  3. This looks very good and I've been waiting for a while.
References to it are all over the net, but never a way to see it. Now at last we have a date and venues.

  4. When I was younger, I used to fantasize about Trent Ford. Now he's in a gay-related film? Yum!

  5. I got to watch Rob Mayes act as a guest star on a TV show on which I worked. He's an amazing actor.

  6. What a relic of both acting and politics.

  7. Wait, now who's going to be the first to say it"s all about handsome, middle-class, high income white guys blah blah blah.

I think the first whiner is going to be JAMAL, with KIWI maybe. Watch them step into their positions.

  8. Tigerman...recent history is not a "relic" and some people too quickly forget or never knew all the lives that were affected by this horrible policy. Anyway,I think it looks very promising.

  13. It's "Brokeback Top Gun" but actually it looks good- nice to see a movie about gay men in which we are not clowns or in drag.

  14. Oh, man, the subject matter hits close to home for me! Idk how I'd react to seeing this film but I have to admit that I'm intrigued.

  18. I saw this on stage in San Francisco in the 90s when I moved here as a baby gay from Tennessee. I was nearly breathless at the frequent nude scenes--locker rooms and full working showers. Several of the actors had ripped torsos and were hung to their knees. For a new kid to the big city, it was something. And the story was heart-wrenching too. But wow, those bodies.

  20. This hits close to home for me too so I'll go see it. I needn't be universally reflective of reality...hell, I saw Godzilla last weekend!
