Conchita Wurst, Bill Clinton, Ricky Martin Take the Stage at Vienna's 'Life Ball' AIDS Benefit: VIDEO

Lifeball_wurst

Europe's largest HIV/AIDS benefit, the star-studded Life Ball took place Saturday night in Vienna, and there were lots of stars on hand including Carmen Carrera, Ke$ha, Jinkx Monsoon, Milk, Courtney Act, Amanda Lepore, Leona Lewis, Marcia Cross, Christina Perri. Check out some fashion coverage HERE.

Former President Bill Clinton took the stage (“I feel so poorly dressed") as did Ricky Martin, to sing his new track "Vida", written for the World Cup, but the entertainer who seemed to steal the spotly was newly-crowned Eurovision winner and bearded lightning rod Conchita Wurst, who performed "Rise Like a Phoenix".

Watch a segment from the show featuring Clinton, Martin, and Conchita Wurst as well as some news coverage, AFTER THE JUMP...

  1. Oh, gosh, not another event which links male homosexuality to AIDS! And what's with all the women being there? I want to see men's bodies, not women's bodies.

The biggest joke has got to be Bill Clinton being there. Is he still trying to seek the gay vote ? DOMA is still on the books thanks to Bill.

  2. The headline reads "take the state", and I believe you mean take the stage.

  3. Petey:
Perhaps you hate him so much you didn't hear what he said in the speech. He specifically talked about children with AIDS. He is there because some of the ticket sale will go to his charity foundation.

  4. The headline reads "take the state". But I'm sure you mean raise the stakes.

  5. Can Conchita get a new sing yet??!!

  6. STEVE TALBERT, I think you mean "new song" NOT "new sing" and as AMELL has stated above, it should read "take the stage" not "take the state"!! Get it right before you correct others, please.
