Anti-Gay Christian Radio Host John Balyo Admits To Second Child Rape: VIDEO

John baylo

Cornerstone University radio host John Balyo, who was arrested in June in connection with the rape of an 11-year-old boy, confessed late last month to the rape of a second boy.

Detroit Free Press reports:

“Balyo and Ronald Lee Moser paid the boy for his involvement in the April 19th assault. His hands and feet were handcuffed and he was tied to the bed, according to courtroom statements today. While bound, Balyo took nine photos of the boy, first in his underwear and then naked. The boy's family wept in the back of the sixth floor courtroom as details of the assault were told to Magistrate Ellen Carmody during today's plea hearing.”

Baylo’s courtroom confession reads in part:

“I did take images of a child and they were sexually explicit involving bondage and nudity. I performed sex acts as described. I knew it was wrong.''

Cornerstone University, a "Christ-centered" college in Grand Rapids, Michigan, requires students to sign a "lifestyle pledge" prohibiting "every form of immorality, including immoral sexual behavior, homosexuality, lying, stealing and cheating."

Concerns have been raised that Balyo may have had many more victims.

Balyo faces life in prison on the first case and up to 50 years for the second.

  1. Another Christian pedophile. The only "Christian prosecution" that exists is the prosecution of these child molesters.

  2. I see a bit of poetic justice coming for john balyo.

He no doubt equated homosexuality and pedophilia on his radio show. He spread those lies.

Now he will be subject to the same willfully ignorant monsters he incited to violence and murder.

We've heard about how pedophiles are treated in prison. Well john balyo will be seen as that thing; the predator and recruiter of innocent boys.

Let's hope he doesn't survive prison for very long - and in addition hope that he suffers a great deal while still alive.

  5. Prison. He'll get the punishment he deserves. Scum.

  6. Of course all we'll hear from the faux Christian community about this is silence. Suddenly Pat Robertson and Michelle Bachmann et al don't have a thing to say. Imagine that.

    Hypocrites.

  7. Life plus 50 to begin with. THIS is why I favor no death penalty -- let him live in fear every day with other men who will prey upon him.

  8. how many anti-gay leaders, responsible for cult-like followers of invisible deities, have to be convicted pedophiles, before the general public begins to realize where the actual problem lies?

  9. Lock him up. He'll be very popular behind bars.

  10. "The lady doth protest too much, me think"...... This is the perfect statement for folks like Balyo, which always raises suspicion for me.........I have to wonder why these folks would be in the anti-gay business. It is unfortunate for his victims that he had to act out his issues in such a harmful and violent manner

  11. Of course, christians will use this as an example of how all gay men are child predators - failing to note that this man identified as straight.

If this man hadn't subjected himself to religious guilt, maybe he could have lived a happy gay life with age appropriate partners. Religion poisons everything.

  12. Makes me sick to hear these stories, albeit important to report in the news. So sad for the victims

  13. This is another fine example of why I feel so strongly that the entire Christian faith should be run out of America. I'm at a loss as to how anyone, male or female, could possibly find pleasure in hog-tying a child and molesting them.

  14. "If this man hadn't subjected himself to religious guilt, maybe he could have lived a happy gay life with age appropriate partners."

No, wouldn't happen. Pedophiles are neither gay or straight. They are attracted to children. It most cases it does not matter if the child is male of female. It is a crime of convenience. They prey on whatever sex child is easiest to attack.

  15. @Mike in the Tundra : one reason that Catholic priests seemed to favor boys statistically is that the boys' parents thought twice about leaving their daughters in the unsupervised hands of sex-starved priests. So it fits with what Mike was saying.

  16. Out of curiosity, I went to Cornerstone University's website. Tons of blather about Jesus and Christianity, but nothing about what they actually teach. What do they offer students? Good degrees in engineering? physical sciences? mathematics? education? business management? what??

Or maybe their graduates are majoring in Jesus.

  17. Cornerstone is a typical church-affiliated school. There is plenty of information about what they teach under "academics."

  18. How is it that they found an 11 year old boy to pay for what they did to him?
How did the boy come to their attention, who else has made this kid into a sexual toy for creeps? An 11 year old boy just doesn't put a price tag on his body. Seems like this might be the tip of an iceberg. Who is caring for the boy now? I hope the Christians keep away and trained professionals help the kid sort through this mess.
As far as I'm concerned wishing rape on anyone in prison or anywhere else just perpetuates the sickness of rape culture. Boyhood is skinned knees, wide-eyed wonder and adventures with boys your own age. How will rape help the boy regain his childhood?

  19. The TV story implies that this is the tip of the iceberg. It sounds like he was a serial offender and, possibly, a serial murderer. Having a collection of obituaries about children is a dangerous sign.

  20. I had a snarky comment at hand, but this just isn't the time, somehow...

  21. poster boy for the Christian right. how many of them need to be found out before the public gets the message they are all creeps.

  22. This is yet another perfect example of an evil soul that has escaped from the place of ALL evil and must be forcibly sent back to that place. That kind of evil is a form of possession. Termination of the life force in such a being is the only way for the soul to be returned to the place of all evil.
Life in prison is not the answer because the now evil incarnate soul will leave his body upon passive death and move to another being.

  23. Another total monster to come out of the indoctrination centers... er, 'Christian colleges'. Sick. Just a bit more sick than the rest of the graduates, though. I'm not sure why we need more brainwashed zombies.

  24. Was he virulantly anti-gay on his radio program? This wasn't clear from the article. Of course, he gravitated towards the cover of a Christian organization to put him beyond suspicion. Had he been a greasy slog living in a trailer park, it's less likely anyone would have trusted him.

  25. "greasy slob"
