George Michael plans to release a Symphonica live album in March featuring orchestral arrangements of hits he played on the tour by the same name.
Michael also returned to Twitter for the first time since January 2013, tweeting:
"HELLO MY LOVELIES !!! A belated happy new year to you all!...Firstly, I can only apologise from the bottom of my heart for worrying you for so long with my silence. Suffice to say that 2013 was a year that i am glad to put behind me and that i hope you can forgive me for. Symphonica the album is ready to go, and i hope it rekindles memories of the nights we spent together over the last few years.xx

The Kaleidoscope Trust, a UK based international LGBT rights charity, is auctioning off seven sets of these Russian nesting dolls in a #ToRussiaWithLove campaign.
The auction will be held today through December 22 to raise money for The Kaleidoscope Trust and their counterparts in the Russian LGBT community, says the group.
They add: "Over Christmas, Mother will deliver a set of dolls to the Russian Embassy in London and The Kremlin as an act of solidarity with the LGBT community in Russia."
The Sun tabloid is reporting more details about the car accident that required George Michael to be airlifted to a hospital last week. Katherine Fox tells the paper she was driving behind Michael's car at 70 mph on the four-lane M1 freeway:
“I saw blood everywhere and a man on the ground. I thought someone had run across the road and been hit. I asked what had gone on and was told he tried to open the car door and shut it again because it wasn’t shut properly and apparently fell out at 70mph. I was on the phone to the ambulance and said, ‘You’d better come quick. This doesn’t look good’.
"George was wearing a black and gold Adidas tracksuit that was ripped all down the arm and shoulder. He had no trainers on. I grabbed one from the second lane because cars were swerving to avoid it. His sunglasses were also in the road. I could hear the crunch as cars drove over them.”
Michael was lucky to escape with his life, she said.
Singer George Michael was involved in a car accident on the M1 motorway near St Albans, in Hertfordshire, UK yesterday, and airlifted to a hospital, the BBC reports:
A spokesman for Michael confirmed the 49-year-old had been involved in an accident, but said the singer only had "superficial cuts" and was "fine".
Michael was a passenger in a Range Rover and no other vehicles were involved, the spokesman added.
Connie Filippello said: "George Michael was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic accident yesterday evening. No third party was involved.
"We have no further comment at this time."
Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "The man who we believe to be in his 40s sustained a head injury and following treatment, stabilisation and immobilisation by land and air ambulance crews, he was flown to hospital for further care."
Police would not comment further on the details of the accident.
George Michael has released the video for his new single, "White Light", a song he wrote and recorded for the fans that prayed for his recovery from pneumonia last year. As you might expect, the track and video meditates on coming close to death but pulling through.

Michael said "it may be the best dance record I've ever made" to his followers on Twitter last April, adding:
I've been a busy boy in the studio this week, mixing symphonica and finally ready to write about what happened to me in Vienna.....And how grateful I am to be given another chance to live and breathe alongside you all in this wonderful world that we share...You may recall my reference to those strange individuals who took the time to pray for my death as I lay in my hospital bed back in November...But don't think I don't realise how many of you out there prayed for my recovery. I thank you all from the deepest part of my soul xxx...And i will repay your unending kindness the only way I know how. With music. Yesterday I began to write a song called "White Light". It's for all of you, for everyone who prayed for me, for every one of you who has prayed for me, for every person who has stopped me in the streets to ask me how I'm doing, you have made me feel so blessed. And I promise you it's a blinder. :)
