Andy Cohen and Sarah Silverman Talk 'The Comeback,' New Book, and Lady Gaga's Urine: VIDEO

Screen Shot 2014-11-27 at 3.59.33 AM

Via the Watch What Happens Live YouTube channel, here's a conversation between Andy Cohen and Sarah Silverman. Writers Bloc Presents hosted the event in New York last week on 11/20, to a sold out audience.

It might seem like a strange pairing, but it's a congenial (if surreal) conversation. Silverman holds her own in the pop culture department (did you know she owns an original painting by Anna Nicole Smith?) In any case, there's a lot to be thankful for in the video — pop culture errata you never knew you needed. From comments on Joan Rivers' death to Silverman's feelings about RHONY's Sonja.

Funny connection — Silverman's sister, Laura, plays Jane in HBO's The Comeback, whose season premiere featured a cameo from Cohen. He recounts his excitement in getting the original call to be on the show, which he describes as a favorite, readily quoting Valerie Cherish.

WATCH LIVE: Final Show Of Lady Gaga's ArtRAVE Tour

Screen Shot 2014-11-24 at 10.13.49 AM

If you missed Lady Gaga's worldwide tour, you now have a chance to watch her concert for free as Yahoo is livestreaming the final performance of Lady Gaga's ArtRAVE tour from Paris today. The tour, which started May 4, is listed as the second highest grossing tour of the year with a revenue of $46.9 million, and is expected to top $60 million when all the figures from her last few European dates are taken into account reports Billboard. Despite the lukewarm reception of the album when it was released last year, NewsdayThe Hollywood Reporter and The Guardian both gave glowing reviews about the tour and its theatrics commending the heart and intensity Gaga puts into her performances.

If there's one thing about a Lady Gaga concert, it's that anything can, and mostly likely will, happen. Over the course of the tour she's had couples propose to each other on stage, belted out impromptu classic covers and performed songs from her new album with Tony Bennet, "Cheek to Cheek." The setlist includes fan favorites such as "Bad Romance," "Paparazzi," "Just Dance," and "Born This Way." Of course it's not a Gaga show without props including a latex squid outfit, lucite runways, lazer lights and cannabis-shaped confetti.

Lady Gaga Invites Fan to Propose to His Boyfriend Onstage: VIDEO

Lady Gaga Jay and Shaun proposal

Love her or hate her, Lady Gaga has been an extremely vocal supporter of the LGBT community from virtually day one, so much so that she's even pissed off the Russian government with her support. (Yes, Madonna has done so, too. She is also awesome.) Last Tuesday in Manchester she continued her trend of support by hosting a gay marriage proposal on-stage during her concert. After getting her heel un-stuck from her latex outfit, she called her friend Jay up on stage and telling Jay's boyfriend Shaun that he might have a question for him. And then the crowd went berserk.

You can watch the proposal and piano-only rendition of "Born This Way" AFTER THE JUMP...

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett Release New Cover of 'Nature Boy' - LISTEN

Duet

Off of their upcoming jazz duets album comes Gaga and Bennett's cover of the song, "Nature Boy." Gaga paid tribute to the late musician Paul Horn, whose flute solo is featured on the song. Gaga took to Twitter to share the story behind the song and Horn's contributions:

Nature Boy was composed in 1941 by eden ahbez, a wandering man from Brooklyn with long hair. It was recorded first by Nat King Cole in 1947...

You will recognize it also famously as used in 'Moulin Rouge,' but our rendition with the now late multi-reedist Paul Horn is spectacular...

Horn was meant to join Tony & me for the PBS special but sadly passed just weeks before, a New Age Jazz pioneer, lets celebrate him 2day...

You will hear his genius in the flute solo of our "NATURE BOY" a solo that will echo through the world today. And forever. #TheGreatPaulHorn
