
Temperatures have soared this week in Melbourne, where Andy Roddick has cruised into the final to face Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus today. The blazing temps did provide one benefit for the spectators - plenty to look at.

Roddick, Marat Safin, Rafael Nadal, and a very 70's-looking Brit Andy Murray were on display.

Andy Roddick isn't the only blogger in the world of pro tennis. Russia's Marat Safin, whom we've covered here before, has been blogging about the Kremlin Cup for the ATP. Fortunately, for us, much of his blogging has been about his post-match massages.

In the first round of the Davis Cup today, Russian Marat Safin sent comeback kid Andy Roddick packing with a 6-4 6-3 7-6 win. The Moscow crowd may have helped Safin break Roddick's serve four times, or perhaps it was the bellowing of former Russian President Boris Yeltsin. In any case, Safin looked smashing as usual.
