Doug Ireland, who has been following the story of the two youths hanged in Iran in July, has learned from sources that two more similar executions are planned for the end of August. His contacts at The International Federation of Iranian Refugees (IFIR), a 15-year-old left-wing organization opposed to the Islamist regime, have been reporting increased surveillance and a heavy crackdown on gays since the hangings. The two gay men tried and sentenced to death for homosexuality, Farbod Mostaar and Ahmad Chooka, are reportedly scheduled to be put to death on August 28th in the Iranian city of Arak.
