Half a million people came out to celebrate Gay Pride in New York City yesterday in a parade that included Senators Hillary Clinton and Charles Schumer, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Attorney General candidates Mark Green and Andrew Cuomo, Representative Anthony Weiner, and Empire State Pride Agenda-endorsed gubernatorial candidate Eliot Spitzer.
Pictured marching with Clinton below are parade Grand Marshalls Florent Morellet and Christine Quinn.
Also working it was club icon/gay bashing victim Kevin Aviance.
Later, at the annual Heritage of Pride pier dance, J Lo was this year's “surprise” guest. And, elsewhere, in town, Liza Minnelli was crowning a winner at the Pet Pride pageant.
