Producers of the ABC sitcom Help Me Help You have deleted an Anderson Cooper gay joke from one episode. The sitcom, starring Ted Danson, doesn't begin airing until the end of September, so it's a bit early for news about a potential joke about a potential homo in a potential sitcom.
The line, uttered by a character played by Jim Rash, goes: “I'm gay. I'm super gay. And I guess that makes Anderson Cooper gay, too.”
No word on whether the joke was deleted because it might have offended the notoriously sexually-private CNN anchor or for a more likely reason: just not funny.
