Bob Allen's attorney Greg Eisenmenger told reporters on Wednesday that his client, who was arrested in early July in a public men's room after offering to perform oral sex on a male police officer for $20, has no plans to resign.
Said Eisenmenger: “Based on the police officer's own report, this case should be dismissed. The officer did all the soliciting.”
He also clarified Allen's ridiculous excuse that he thought he went along with the undercover officer because he was afriad of black men in the park where the men's room is located, and thought he was going to be robbed:
“This was not a question of race; it was the way they looked. These three guys were hanging out together, obviously together, and then one of them asks for money. It was the classic situation in a mugging.”
