Or at least he believes it this week. Noted snake oil salesman and potential New York Senate candidate Harold Ford Jr. was profiled by Maureen Dowd in the NYT over the weekend and told her he rejects the "ex-gay" myth (which, of course, is a good thing):
On his embrace of gay marriage, he observed: “There were pastors in my
Tennessee district who said you can minister to someone and change their
sexual orientation. I just never accepted that. I'm a heterosexual. I
don't know what anyone can say to me to make me sexually be with a man.”
