Alex Morse, the new 22-year-old openly gay mayor of Holyoke, Massachusetts, talks with David Pakman about his election, and the recent CBS News story which failed to mention his sexuality.
"It didn't matter to me. I've always been open and honest about my sexuality. CBS News – I don't think they intentionally left it out…It didn't come up. At the end of the day, voters don't care if I'm gay or straight," says Morse, adding, "We had to overcome questions of my age more than questions of my sexuality. I always thought that I would have to overcome my age more so…"
