MARRIAGE EQUALITY
With less than a week until the Supreme Court begins hearing arguments in the Prop 8 and DOMA cases, Ari Waldman takes a closer look at what these cases really mean for the day-to-day lives of average gay people. Pew Research broke down the numbers behind the support for marriage equality and perhaps unsurprisingly things seem to break down along generational lines. WINGNUTTERY
If you happen to be in Utah look out for the Osmond Family's big rally against gay marriage. It seems that the Family Research Council are turning to prayer to combat marriage equality, as the group is ordering followers to pray that pro-gay rights arguments in front of SCOTUS are "inept" and "unconvincing". Senator Saxby Chambliss says that he has no plans to marry a gay. Or maybe he just hasn't found the right guy yet. And a bullied 7th grader in Illinois doesn't want to go back to school after a bully wrote "fag" on the back of his neck. Who can blame the kid?
