‘My Husband’s Not Gay’ Star Explains His ‘Same-Sex Attraction’ – VIDEO

Christian Walters January 11, 2015

Husband

TLC’s depressing My Husband’s Not Gay reality show debuts this Sunday, but if you want an early look you can catch a sneak peek video wherein couple Jeff and Tanya attempt to rationalize Jeff’s homosexuality by re-labeling it as SSA…”same-sex attraction.” While Jeff openly admits that a beautiful man would catch his eye first, the two are quick to rationalize that despite his attraction to men he desires to be in a heterosexual relationship, hence his 9-year marriage to Tanya and toddler son.

While the level of denial is comparatively minimal – the open admission to a sexual attraction to men is mildly laudable – the relationship still seems to be a ticking time bomb with a young child as collateral damage when it goes off. What ever happened to marriages being all about the children?

Media Matters has also pointed out that Jeff is a spokesman for the fringe ‘ex-gay’ group North Star and has written in defense of “sexual orientation change efforts.”

You can find the preview AFTER THE JUMP…
