Golden Globe-winning series Transparent starring Jeffrey Tambor as a trans parent who comes out to her family, has been renewed by Amazon for a third season, Variety reports.
Last October Amazon renewed “Transparent” for a second season, shortly after the series debuted. Amazon has not announced a premiere date for season 2. A studio rep said the third season would most likely be 10 episodes, as with the first two runs.
“I am so thrilled that I get to share more of the Pfeffermans' story with the world,” [series creator Jill] Soloway said in a statement. “We are all so in love with watching them change and grow. I am blown away by the creative freedom Amazon gives me and I can't wait to reveal where this journey is going to take us.”
