Yesterday, we told you about evangelical offspring Franklin Graham's plan to leave Wells Fargo because of the bank's new ad featuring a same-sex couple. Graham clearly didn't do his homework though because the bank he moved his business to, BB&T, turns out to be a big sponsor of Miami's pride and various other LGBT-supportive events. The bank even built a chapel inside its South Beach branch to let one gay couple tie the knot in the Sunshine State.
Rachel Maddow caught wind of the story on last night's TRMS and could barely contain her glee.
“I love this story so much I want to take it to Franklin Graham's new bank and marry it…if it's a lady,” said Maddow.
