To pay homage to Madonna, her music, and her advocacy for the LGBT community, over 200 volunteers took part in a vogueing extravaganza organized by Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
The group posted their video tribute to the Queen of Pop on their Facebook page Wednesday. They write,
As an artist, Madonna has helped define a generation during an era that has seen huge global changes, and diversity has ALWAYS been core to her message of self-expression and love. We hope that our video tribute goes someway to reflect the sheer joy, infinite love and deep respect that our diverse LGBTQI communities have for a unique performer who continues to empower, celebrate, and support us.
The video includes performances set to Madge's tracks “Material Girl”, “Vogue”, “Express Yourself” and “Living For Love.” It was filmed on Valentine's Day as part of the Month of Love celebrations which took place in Australia.
