Democratic senators in the Missouri Senate have hit the 38-hour mark in the filibuster of an anti-gay ‘religious freedom' bill in an attempt to halt a vote on the proposed legislation. The filibuster is capturing national attention and has broken records.
The previous longest filibuster in the state was 30 hours.
