Tom Daley was on The Graham Norton Show on Friday and things heated up when talk turned to Daley's tiny speedos.
It was Jodie Foster, another guest on the show, who brought up the subject. Cutting off Daley and Norton at one point, Foster eagerly asked, “When do you put on the speedos?” To which Daley replied, “I basically live in them.”
Foster liked that answer.
Norton then brought up Daley's new Team GB uniform designed by Stella McCartney for the 2016 Rio Olympics. Norton joked, “Sadly she ran out of material, money and interest.” He added, “They are very small, Tom!”
But Daley explained, “Well everything has to stay in place. If you're spinning around the last thing you want to do is have something come out of place! And when you hit the water you don't want things flapping about because it would hurt.”
And another guest on the show, Russell Crowe couldn't.
He could not.
But Norton wasn't done. He wondered, “I don't want to be indelicate, but what if anything changes and you're wearing those?”
