The International Revolutionary People's Guerrilla Forces (IRPGF), which describes itself as “a militant armed self-organized and horizontal collective working to defend social revolutions around the world, to directly confront capital and the state, and advance the cause of anarchism,” raised the LGBTQ Pride flag in Raqqa, Syria, according to a tweet posted on Monday.

Tweeted the group with a photo of group members holding up the rainbow flag and a flag of an assault rifle:
“These Faggots Kill Fascists! We shoot back! The Black & Pink and Rainbow flag fly in Raqqa. #Queers smashing the Caliphate. #TQILA #YPJ #YPG”
Syrian forces and their allies recently recaptured territory from ISIS in areas close to Raqqa, Reuters reported on Sunday.
