A permanent memorial is planned at the site of the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, where the largest mass shooting in U.S. history took the lives of 49 people on June 12.

Pulse's recently created non-profit charity, OnePulse Foundation, will use donations for “conceiving, funding and aiding in the construction of a permanent memorial on the existing Pulse site in Orlando…and other relevant sites to be determined by the Board,” according to the charity's articles of incorporation filed with the Florida Department of State Division of Corporations on July 7.
Money raised will also go to help with victims' immediate financial needs, the records show.
