Chris Evans' Fantastic Four 2 Man-Crush Moment

As you may know, actor Chris Evans is quite popular here at Towleroad, so I was pleased to catch this light moment from a brand new Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer TV spot in which Evans, who plays The Human Torch, responding to a comment from Jessica Alba's Invisible Woman, offers a bit of jokey affection to Mr. Fantastic, played by Ioan Gruffudd. Since it flies by, I've screencapped it for you. Don't miss Gruffudd's saucy look at the end.

Of course, Evans does play the flaming superhero. See the full spot below.

Mr. Evans and I go to the same gym and he's just as handsome in person, if not more so.

Would you mind telling us the name of the gym?

Ioan is just gorgeous. I've had t eh biggest crush on him ever since seeing him in the Horatio Hornblower ads aroudn New York. Watching him in The Forsyte Saga was a treat.

I just know the next step is benign shots of sexually secure straight friends hugging on the street. Much like Stars Without Makeup, when you realize a revelation really isn't one at all.

You're right about Ioan. He's genuinely handsome and he should be better known. As I type this, I realize he's working on a 50 year career instead of "hot new thing". Is he on our team?

The trademark Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, is his shock of blond hair -- sometimes spiky, sometimes wavy, but always BLOND. I don't care how nice a bod Mr. Evans has -- with his mouse-colored buzz cut, he is NOT Johnny Storm.

Of course, Keanu, whom I like, wasn't Constantine, either. Movies messing with the source material.

Evans is hot but I am more excited over the Silver Surfer - Rise Ideed!

John, Mr. Evans and I go to the Bally's in Studio City, CA. It ain't glamorous, but it gets the job done! Justin Timberlake also works out here from time to time--apparently its close to rehearsal stages that he and other music stars use prior to tours.

Tags tossed around for the movie:

"FF II: It can go up from here!"
"FF II: We're proud to say it's even worse than FF I!"
"FF II: Even we're amazed we got to make this!"
"FF II: We've pegged our star to Basic Instinct II--Go Razzies!"

too bad the first movie sucked so much, and sequels are always worse

Wow, really? Does that mean that Matthew Rhys is also gay? They were roommates...oh, is Matthew the happy partner?
