Got Frog?

Frog_juice

Described as "a starchy, milkshake-like liquid that stings the throat," frog juice is a hot drink in Peru.

According to the AP, frog juice is "a beverage revered by some Andean cultures for having the power to cure asthma, bronchitis, sluggishness and a low sex drive. A drink of so-called "Peruvian Viagra" sells for about 90 cents."

It's certainly not easy being green.

  1. Hmmm, I lived in Peru for about 2 years, and I still try to visit whenever I can, and I'm not surprised by this new "energy' drink. They have all kinds of strange nature like recipies, and some that I've been exposed to actually did help, so I might have to try this frog drink on my next trip to Peru!

  2. What do you s'pose is more important to the average man(gay or straight)? A hard on or a head full of hair? I know what's more important to 49 year old queens: fuck the frog juice...unless it cures baldness.

  4. Various species of frogs are fast becoming extinct because of the destruction of their natural habitat caused human overconsumption. Frogs are noted to be nature's barometers in climate changes as they tend to be highly sensitive to their natural environment.
This just adds insult to the injury we've inflicted on their entire species. Just absolutely shameful. Perhaps Peruvians should look at the all the shit they put into and consume in their highly prized Peruvian beef instead and its linkages with the maladies they purport consuming these frogs will cure.
