The Herndon Climb: It’s That Time Again


Well, it's that time of year again when upperclassmen at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis grease up the Herndon Monument obelisk so dozens of shirtless plebes can fulfill the ritual of graduating to midshipmen, which they do by climbing to the top of it.
