Tammy Lynn Michaels Not a Fan of Bush

Page Six slaps Tammy Lynn Michaels on the hand for exercising her freedom of speech. Michaels, who seems to come from the Rosie O'Donnell school of verse blogging, takes a more potty-mouthed and direct approach than her partner Melissa Etheridge when it comes to airing her anti-war views. She writes:

Etheridge_michaels"so if i blog / about what an idiotic, parasitical, country-raping piece of shit george w. bush is, i could / go to jail?

george bush / you are a criminal / you are raping our country of our intentions / i do wonder if his mom and dad go to bed at night / proud of little whiskey-cokey-georgie poo / for / his dictatorship?

how does laura lay her head down at night / pulled eyes and all / and dream sweetly of lambies and cashmere sweaters? / when she fucks him / does she call him adolf or castro?

rove / you sweaty little piggish oompa loompa elmer fudd ass / karma is a bitch / and i don't think you'll / ever get / that wascaly wabbit / while torturing the fellas at abu gharib

this war is / war for profit / something i am sure / the bible does not favor

weapons of mass destruction: the current american government.

now come arrest me / you f*ckers."

C'mon Tammy, tell us how you really feel.

What do you get when you cross elmer fudd with bush? WMD [hollywood farm girl]

  4. What really crappy is Page Six used the headline "VULGAR AND VILE" Saying she should have her mouth washed out with soap.

It's not vulgar nor vile that she spoke her mind.

If anyone is Vulgar and Vile its Page Six and Richard Johnson. I think condemning a person for speaking out would be the last thing a real reporter would do.

  5. HOORAY!!!! She simply spoke the truth. I'd be glad to go to jail along side her. She's completely right on with what she said.

    Fuck Page 6.

  6. I think TLM pretty much summed it up in her piece.

I think it demonstrates the level of frustration, anger and defiance of the current administration.

  8. For the Democrats to win next year, they are going to need a "plan", something to do other than go after a lame duck president. Otherwise, they will risk sounding weak going against Romney or whoever gets the other nod. Plus, do you really want to sound like a spoiled high-school-senior? (Admittedly Bush rarely sounds like he got that far in school, but he ain't running again.)

  9. I really liked the sentiment, much of the content, and the imagery.

The NY Post is wrong saying that Ms. Michaels wrote something vulgar and vile. Good poetry incites. The problem is that this poem is probably the best one on her blog. I don't think the Post would be wrong saying that she writes some pretty poor poetry. Did you read her other stuff? She needs to do a LOT of work revising that stuff before calling herself a poet.

  11. Notice how the NY post refers to her as the lesbian "wife"... in quotations.

    Jerks.

  12. I wonder if Page Six thinks the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians is possibly even more "vulgar and vile" than Tammy's blog posting? Nah, those Iraqi 3 yr olds deserved it, for hiding our oil under their sand. Eat lead you little oil-thieving towelhead!

  14. Is there ANY element of surprise that she is not a Bush fan? I think not.

As for Rosie O'Donnell...well, better left unsaid.

  22. Rock on Girl! How can anyone come down on Tammy for speaking her mind, truthfully? I have been a fan of her blog for while now because she always speaks the truth and doesn't sugar coat anything. She's able to put into words how everyone else is feeling. and does so, so very well. She is the type of person i would love to have a tea with. very thought provoking, intelligent and hilarious.

  24. Tammy has no HW career anymore, so she's free to speak. Melissa is a force to be reckoned with, so Tammy's well-protected. Rosie is Rosie. She should get a medal for her work this year on daytime Network television.

  27. While I think many Americans may feel that those currently in the White House have done a lousy job, I'm sure any of those people could have come up with a better way of saying it rather than taking the infantile route as Michaels did in her blog. How about stating some facts instead of just calling people names and spewing obscenities?

I'm really not quite sure why a so-called "celebrity" would need to spend so much time on the internet moaning about her life. One would think that Michaels has something better to do... like take care of her newborn children, or actually having some sort of a career other than riding on the coat tails of Etheridge. If you go back and read her blogs, she appears to be a very angry person who tends to blame everyone else other than taking responsibility for her life.

I truly feel sorry for Etheridge. It looks like whenever something good happens in her life, another thing comes along and ruins it. This time... it was Michaels.

  28. I am quite sure the vast majority of Americans are sick and tired of Bush and his bumbling band of "quitters," However Tammy Michaels (who is she, ah the unemployed bad actress who latched on to a millionaire ten years her senior) needs to grow up. Her blog is mostly rants about everyone and everything she doesn't like and most are done in a childish way. This takes the cake. Had she offered anything constructive it might be worthy of praise, but in this case all she did was look like a 12 year old going on a name calling rant, mostly because she has Etheridge she will not have to work another day in her life. Etheridge has fans from all walks of life and all political backgrounds, maybe she should shut her up as I'm sure Micheals will have a negative effect on her career. Etheridge cannot live on liberal democrats alone. One would think Melissa could have found someone with a bit more class. Michaels sounds like a lowlife pig.

  29. I couldn't help but laugh at TM's blog, however, she does sound like a spoiled child who hasn't been given much in life. I never read her blog before this weekend and see that I haven't missed much. Bush sucks, the entire administration is clueless but TM's rant should go down in history as to why celebrities should keep quiet and entertain. I'm sure Melissa loves the negative publicity but would you want TM as the parent of your children?

  30. I believe - live and let live - this is America! Or are we all too numb and desensitized by all these great new wonders that surround us? Mother Earth needs help by ALL of us worldwide. Please keep reading...or don't - that's the beauty; you have the choice to read it or not to read it, but the truth always speaks out loud. There is nothing classless about speaking the truth - again, this is America, right?

I'd rather have Tammy Lynn Etheridge in the White House right now? Truly. Maybe she'd actually DO something!

We need to wake up, start thinking and take some serious action before it's too late! If only for our children and their future...love and peace always will prevail!
